James Orr was trained at Glasgow School of Art and resides on the west of Scotland. Orr is fascinated by the various aspects of the sea around coastlines, and bases his work on the variety of colour found particularly around the coasts of Scotland. |
| Orr is a regular exhibitor at the Royal Scottish Academy, and exhibits in London and throughout the UK. His works are held in many private and corporate collections in U.S., Canada, France, Belgium and Hong Kong, including the collection of His Royal Highness Prince Philip. | |
