Worked as an art teacher in Glasgow schools before becoming a full time ceramicist and painter.

Works in private collections in USA Canada, Australia, Spain,Italy,Spain and Switzerland.

Having studied painting before developing an interest in ceramics, it was natural for him to combine form with figurative decoration. His subject matter has references to circuses, childhood, Italy, the sea and music.

He exhibits ceramics regularly at exhibitions and art fairs but recently have returned to painting and is busy producing work in both disciplines.

His paintings are being sought after by discerning collectors many of whom already own his ceramics.
